AXON’s heating module is delivered as a factory-assembled skid — pump, electric heating elements, non-return valves, insulated piping and a control panel — that pre-heats the HT and LT circuits independently, each to its own setpoint, while the set is stopped. In standby duty this supports a fast start and load acceptance; in continuous or CHP duty it brings the engine into a stable thermal condition before start, including at first commissioning, when no other unit is yet running to supply recovered heat.
AXON sizes the heating elements against each circuit’s fluid volume, the site’s design ambient temperature and the engine manufacturer’s minimum start temperatures, and integrates the module’s control — setpoints, low-temperature alarms and automatic cut-out on start — into the same auxiliary systems MCC as the rest of the container. Where a multi-unit CHP heat recovery loop exists, the module can draw on recovered HT circuit heat from a running unit ahead of the electric elements.
